Why isn’t my theme compatible with WP Stagecoach?
We have worked very hard to make sure that WP Stagecoach will work with any WordPress theme that follows standard WordPress theme practices. However, some themes use the WordPress database in unconventional ways, and can lead to unexpected results when importing your changes from your staging site to your live site.
If you are only importing file changes, you shouldn’t run into any trouble.
If you are importing database changes, you should make a backup of your live site before importing anything, just in case something goes wrong. If WP Stagecoach’s automatic import doesn’t work, you can do a manual import instead.
